CF Jennings is one of the most experienced haulage companies in the country, having provided a range of transport services since 1971. We currently operate a fleet of around 30 vehicles which are constantly maintained, upgraded and replaced when necessary. These include over 20 artics (as well as two CAT II trucks), a Rigid HIAB with the capability of lifting up to 13 tonnes, a 10-ton vehicle, 2 Sprinters and 2 Escort vehicles.
We own an extensive range of trailers to suit our customer’s needs, which includes flats, step decks, extenders and curtainsiders. Our team’s knowledge and experience ensures that the required equipment can be delivered in safe and timely manner without compromising Quality.
HISTORY
The company story began in 1971 when Charlie Jennings took on a used Bedford 7.5-tonne truck, purchased from Hay’s Lemonade in Aberdeen. CF Jennings became a limited company in 1993 and today adheres to the standards and practices expected from a professional transport company.
Over the years Charlie has been joined in the day-to-day running of the company by his wife Susan, and sons Scott and Barry. The operations team is currently led by Scott Jennings and his team, who have years of experience both in operations and as domestic and international drivers.
Our drivers are ADR trained, regularly assessed and updated with the latest changes in all areas of the job including health and safety regulations. Our drivers have decades of experience yet they are always willing to continue to learn more as the days bring new challenges.
We are a part of the Road Haulage Association and are quality assured with ISO 9001 (quality management systems), ISO 14001 (environmental management systems) and OHSAS 18001 (health and safety management systems). CF Jennings is also a member of the Achilles FPAL system, allowing us to communicate and share with our partners using the latest cloud-based technology.
